An Intuitive Healing Massage can be many things - an art form, a meditation, a performance of skill and talent, an exchange of energy that enriches both the giver and the receiver. The relationship between the bodyworker and client is a special one. Through this deepening connection, the bodywork session becomes more than just a unique mind, body, spirit connection, (which it is), but a truly healing experience; a reverential activity - with the act of touching people not because there is something wrong with them, but rather to help them remember what is right with them.
Every Intuitive Healing session is unique in how it unfolds, however most sessions generally begin in the same fashion; beginning with the client laying face up on the table, hot towels and either a sheet or blanket, is draped over them. Traditional Reflexology foot massage is administered with a refreshing foot lotion, (made with Tea Tree oil). This acupressure technique helps to determine the places on the body, which need immediate attention. Additionally, a soothing foot massage helps to relax and soothe the body preparing the way for further relaxation. I only use creams and lotions; some are lightly scented. If you prefer oil or no lotion at all, please let me know before the session begins. The client's needs should be met for optimal relaxation. In all cases, though, I keep an open mind and listen to any requests the client, (as well as the client's inner-body), may offer.
Intuitive Touch Bodywork
This is a special type of bodywork that is less of a massage and more of an energy exchange, (and if time permits a Chakra diagnostic scan will also take place). All Intuitive Touch sessions, (called by some to be "Light Work", "Reiki", "Energy"), incorporate many different healing systems.
Every session is unique, however, all sessions begin with the client laying face up on the massage table. My hands will then lightly scan the body (barely a few inches above the body), from feet to head, scanning for a yin/yang balancing pattern; adjusting the energy to maintain that balance. Usually I then, (without touching), place my hands on either side of the head. I call upon First Light energy, continuing with other systems that are needed or requested by the client. After this I might place my hands on various portals/chakras for deeper contact.
The client need not remove clothing, (as in a massage), and generally is covered with a blanket or sheet. Energy is naturally around us like the air. It is much like radio waves. To hear the radio broadcast ones needs a radio to pick them up. In working with energy systems, it is the bodyworker that attunes themselves to these specific forms of energy releasing the light through their hands whenever they touch a living being, which brings a state of balance to the recipient.
When I place my hands on any living object, the energy begins to flow, as soon as touch is made; from practitioner to recipient but also from recipient to practitioner - a flow of balance. First the Reiki enters through the Crown Chakra, down to the Solar Plexus, then out the practitioner's hands to the recipient. Intuitive Touch integrates several healing streams of energy spinning them around the body, like a golden thread of protection, life-force energy, and total relaxation.
The feelings or sensations often felt differ from person to person. Some of the most common feelings are: Warmth or extreme heat, Cold or cool touch, Tingling, Vibrations, Incredible Relaxation, Meditative States, Release of body tension.
These are only some of the sensations experienced by people, of course each person will perceive the energy differently. Energy bodywork can sometimes be very subtle, at other times it can be very strong. You see, the energy has an intelligence of it's own, it knows exactly where to go in the body and exactly how much is needed at the time. You will ALWAYS receive only what is needed for your physical being! These feelings often will remain with you for twelve hours or so after the treatment, for the energy continues to work on the body after the initial treatment.
I also enjoy giving a reading of the client's chakras; scanning my hands lightly over the body, stopping at each of the seven major chakras, interpreting the empathic connection as it relates to the emotional, physical, and spiritual. I interpret the seven major chakras differently as most, as I teach that each chakra is connected to other chakras and its this unique interactivity that is further explained during a session.

It is suggested that the sessions begin with a 60 minute session. After the initial session, we can discuss the course of further sessions and other lengths of time.

First of all, while some parts of this type of bodywork may contain massage, these sessions are not meant as "just a massage." This is bodywork intended to awaken mind, body, and spirit.
Breathing, often synonymous with life itself, is actually a swap between you and the universe, a grand cosmic exchange of taking-in and releasing. Usually, it is so easy, we don't give it much thought. It's just an inhale and exhale. But it can be so much more powerful than that: With the use of Conscious Breathing, you can relieve stress, reduce anxiety clear the mind and recharge your energy.
A Rebirthing session is very important, as it allows for a rapid experiential experience. What might normally takes place over years of training can be experienced in a 'short' space of time. However, a Rebirthing session is very arduous and not many clients can undergo the full 'breathing' session required for rapid experiential learning. Therefore I offer a variety of techniques which allow you to sample this type of work with ease.
After many years of working with Conscious Breathing methods, I have found that the benefits of breath work are best experienced over a series of appointments; each subsequent session building on content based on the prior sessions. With each further session, the breath will expand, as will the potentials you will enjoy with a Conscious Breathing.
Each session stands on its own; within one session you will have all you need to begin the awakening process. A special two session discount is available, with the initial two hour session for the first session and a 90 minute appointment for the second session.
