The Attunement Process
Attunements are an ancient process of power transfer which finely tune your electromagnetic field to open a clear channel for a specific energy. A trained Master/Teacher uses either the symbols or a connection with the specific energy they were initiated with to adjust and align your Crown Chakra, Third Eye, Heart Chakra, and the minor chakras in the palms of your hands.
Energy Attunements are generally sent via long distance healing, so the participant does not need to be living in San Francisco; with Reiki being the only exception. I was originally trained that Reiki required a person-to-person attunement. However, recently I have begun to attune Reiki long distance in special circumstances.
My commitment with healing is to make energy systems available to every person who truly wishes to learn about them (and in the process begin to heal self, others, and the planet). As a result of this, I offer a sliding scale of Attunement Costs, (as well as generous discounts, barter, and even free sessions).
All Energy Attunements require a prior email/voice consultation. As the Master/Teacher I reserve the right to refuse to attune a student to any level that may not be appropriate for them.
Students are sometimes eager to pursue their healing path at an accelerated pace. Some students will be ready to take on extra attunements, and the pathworking needed to maintain balance while achieving the attunements. However, for most students, there are recommended breaks between attunements so that the body, mind and spirit can maintain balance and inner healing before attempting to progress further.
After approval, a date, time, location will be set aside for the attunement to take place. With most of the attunements, it will require the client to be in a meditative state awaiting the arrival of the attunement. A password will also be sent to you allowing you to download the attunement manuals available on line.
If the session is in San Francisco, you will be informed of the location. Small classes are conducted in my massage room. Larger classes are conducted in a local Chiropractor's office, (about two blocks from my massage place). Classes are meant to be small, generally 3-4 people maximum. Personal one-on-one classes are possible, as are groups (with special group discounts). Please inquire.

ART
Reiki is from the Japanese words: "Rei" for Spirit or Universal Life and "Ki" for Energy. Reiki means Universal Life Energy.
Reiki comes from the universe. It is naturally around us like the air. It is much like radio waves, which you need a radio to pick up. The Reiki practitioner then attunes themselves to this specific form of energy through their hands whenever they touch a living being, which brings a state of balance to the recipient.
When a Reiki practitioner places his or her hands on any living object, the Reiki begins to flow, as soon as touch is made; from practitioner to recipient but also from recipient to practitioner - a flow of balance. First the Reiki enters through the Crown Chakra, down to the Solar Plexus, then out the practitioner's hands to the recipient.
One major difference between Reiki and many other healing systems is that Reiki energy comes through, not from, the practitioner. Thus, if you are generating it, you cannot be drained or harmed by channeling it. This unique feature allows practitioners to use Reiki themselves or to help others regardless of the state of their expertise.
There are three primary levels, each with separate attunements to train a person to be an energy healer. If one wants to also teach Reiki to others, then there is an additional class, (ART), which will assist in preparing the body to pass attunements on to others.

Reiki One
The Basics
No Pre-Requisite of prior energy work
Reiki students begin by "wiring into" the source of universal light with a Reiki One attunement. This attunement activates the Reiki energy. Once activated, the energy is permanent and never lessens, even if it isn't used.

Reiki Two
Advanced
Pre-Requisite: Reiki One
The Second Level Attunement tends to open up the heart center and allow you to feel more love, warmth, comfort and joy for yourself and to others. Reiki Two can be of great help when dealing with addictive behavior. Reiki treatments and knowledge give our minds the focus, our bodies the relaxation, and our emotions the love and support to help end addictive behavior.

Reiki ART
Advanced Reiki Training
Pre-Requisite: Reiki Level Two
A requirement for Reiki Master/Teacher Level Three
Before you can successfully pass the Reiki attunements to others, you need to prepare with a series of exercises to increase your personal Reiki ability. For those who wish to teach Reiki and attune others to this energy, it is recommended that you attend this class in preparation for Reiki Three Master Teacher.

Reiki Three
Master/Teacher
Pre-Requisite for Reiki Master: Reiki Level Two
Pre-Requisite for Reiki Master/Teacher: Advanced Reiki Training [ART]
The Third Level Attunement opens up centers of power and action, increasing your ability to manifest directly from spirit. Old patterns and conditioned thoughts are able to change in a positive manner. Reiki is a journey, a path of self-mastery. Reiki Level Three is presented either for those seeking completion to their Reiki training, or for those who want to be a Reiki Master/Teacher.
- Learn the last two sacred Reiki symbols
- Learn to do self-attunements
- Receive the Third Level/Master Attunement
- Learn to pass on the initiations/attunements to others
- Receive the knowledge necessary to enable you to teach others
Reiki classes usually lasts two to three hours. A manual will be given to all students with contents from the class as well as illustrations showing how to provide Reiki Healing to yourself or with another.
The student needs to be in San Francisco for the attunement process. Reiki is the only attunement process which I insist on conveying on a personal basis. This is how I was trained, and so impart my teachings with those from my teachers. Classes are generally small, from two to five students per class. Former students may re-take the Reiki class for free.

Karuna Reiki

The word Karuna translates as “compassionate action”, which is what the world needs at this time. Karuna Reiki was crafted to update the Reiki healing energy with new energies and additional healing symbols.
Karuna strengthens one’s healing energy, allowing it to work more deeply and produce beneficial results more quickly. Eight Healing symbols and four Master symbols are taught in a three level course. Each symbol has a distinctive purpose and vibration. These additional healing tools help one to be a more effective healer.
Karuna is an advanced training course. It was originally intended only for Reiki Level Three Masters, but a section of this powerful form of Reiki can be taught for beginners to Energy work, (even to those who have not yet been attuned to Reiki Level One).
Karuna Reiki is presented in three sections:

Non-Reiki training permitted under special circumstances for this level of Karuna Reiki only.

- Learn more of the sacred Karuna symbols
- Learn about healing with the Shadow Self
- Receive 4 additional symbols, which assist in healing with: Healing the Mind, Communication, Grounding, Manifesting Goals, Calming Fears, Enhancing Clairvoyance

Prerequisite: Karuna Level Two
- Receive the Third Level/Master Attunement
- Learn 4 Master Power Symbols for: Aura Protection, Oneness/Connection with All, Centering and Grounding, Aligning the Chakras
- Learn Advanced Techniques such as: The Violet Breath, Mudras, Chanting, Toning
Receive the knowledge necessary to enable you to attune and teach others
Each participant will receive a manual of the attunements with instructions on how to work with this new energy system.
The student does not need to be in San Francisco for the attunement process, as it is possible to offer these attunements via long distance. Kundalini Reiki is for those student who have already received Reiki Level Three Master. It is a dynamically more powerful version of the Reiki system of healing. It requires several Attunements given over a period of time, (each attunement given every three days). The student does not need to be in San Francisco for the Attunement process, as it is possible to offer the Attunements via Long Distance.
In the Kundalini Reiki attunement process, all the knots/blocks in the chakras are removed. The main energy channel from the crown to root chakras are cleansed and prepared for the lighting of the Kundalini fire. Additional attunements are then optionally given to the student, along with meditations and exercises, and the ability to pass the attunements on to others.
All three Levels are presented in one class.
Kundalini Reiki One
- The crown, heart, and hand chakras are opened and strengthened
- Opens the Reiki healing channels, preparing for the Kundalini awakening
- You are taught to perform a complete healing treatmentKundalini Reiki Two
- The third eye chakra is opened
- Kundalini is awakened as the Kundalini energy is continuously released out of the crown chakraKundalini Reiki Three
- The previous attunements are strengthened
- The throat, solar plexus, hara and root chakras are opened and enlarged to allow for more energy to channel through them
- Kundalini fire reaches the crown chakra
- Extra Reiki Boosters attunements are included that dramatically increase your Reiki energy

In Sanskrit, they are called “Deva” for Shining Ones
From Myth, Devas are spirits usually invisible to the untrained human eye. They are part of the Angelic Kingdom and are in direct service to the world of nature expressing themselves as one of the four elements. The exist in the etheric world which penetrates out own. They are often seen or felt with our inner senses.
Devas have been located in all of the world's mythologies. Here are some examples:
- In Cambodia people call them the Apsaras (females with supernatural beauty mortal men cannot resist) and Ghandarvas, (sacred celestial dancers)
- In Thailand known as Nagas, Multi-headed serpents that guard the temples
- In Japan, country folk have legends of the Oni, Demon Spirits that keep intruders away, are either tricksters or demons
- The Jewish peoples called them Shedim
- Persians called them Devs
- Africans named them Yowahoos
Devas are around us all the time. Of course it is sometimes easier to locate them deep in nature’s realm as in an overgrown forest, or at a rocky seashore? Nature Spirits can also be present in the heart of a city, especially those with tree-lined streets, gardens and parks. In these places one needs time & patience to fully realize where they exist as a city can overwhelm the senses The Sacred Deva attunements are composed of the energy of all these beings; pulling in their guidance and raw elemental energy for the work of healing, allowing you to connect with what is plainly visible but might be just out of everyday sight.
Sacred Light is a unique system of energetic energies that is transmitted from the Angels, Devas or Nature Spirits. A plant, herb, flower or tree's energies are conveyed in a light energy form. The effect is similar to the type one receives while taking in of remedies found in Bach Flower Remedies, but of a much more refined and subtle nature. Contact can also be made with all the angels or devas of the plant world and then those energies can be 'sent' into a person. These attunements, align you with the Nature Spirits, allowing you to channel their specific vibration of energy to heal self and others.
Sacred Deva is taught in three separate classes:

Plant Energy
The primary focus for this attunement is for channeling the Nature Spirits energy, (such as through plants, flowers, herbs, trees, succulents, wildflowers, etc.) into your hands for the healing of self and others.There are nine energy attunements, along with meditations and training to which will allow you to:
- Contact the Nature Spirits, (also known as 'Angels' or 'Devas') as well as contacting the
individual deva of a plant.
- Provide a way to bless every plant you come in contact with
- Offer several examples for self healing as well as to send healing energies to others in person
or over a long distance.These attunements are a good introduction to the world of Nature Spirits/Devas as well as becoming an energy light worker. Cost

Gemstones
This attunement focuses on channeling various gemstone Nature Spirit/Deva energy through your hands for the healing of self and others as well as an introduction training on astrological and numerological methods for gemstone divination.Attunements include seven separate energy attunements, including meditations and training to:
- Bless gemstones, (not exclusively quartz crystals)
- Contact the Nature Spirits, (also known as 'Angels' or 'Devas') as well as contacting the
individual deva of gemstones
- Offer suggestions for using gemstones to heal others and self along with instructions for

Ho'omana

Ho'omana is sometimes referred to as Huna or Kahuna energy.
Huna means "secret" in Hawaii's spiritual tradition.
Kahuna means "teacher or keeper of the Huna".
Ho'omana is Hawaiian for "to bring forth life-force energy".
Ho'omana is a celebration of life and a merging of matter and spirit. Huna places equal emphasis on connecting with your spirituality and connecting with the earth, your body, and your emotions. Rather than teaching transcendence of the physical plane, Huna teaches us to celebrate life, to merge matter and spirit.
Huna believes that there are the three key qualities of the heart: The ability of your heart to give and receive love, courage and openness to life.
The teachings offer wisdom that the key to living a fulfilled life lies in the awakening and integration of your subconscious self (Ku), conscious self (Lono) and higher self (Kane). It offers a profoundly beautiful philosophy of life centered in love and the vision of humankind, nature, and the divine as harmonious parts of a cosmic community. But this is not just a philosophy; more than anything else it is something you do, as it gives a set of practices that are simple yet, when used regularly, profoundly transformational.
The attunement will also include:
- the Three States of Being also known as the "Orders" of Huna/Ho'omana - Lono, Ku and Kane
- the Seven Shamanic Tools and Principles

It is perceived as a flowing of astral illumination, with positive healing light. While some say it is of Tibetan origin, others say it's from a more ancient time. First Light allows a person to receive powerful energies that shift the perceptions of their being - spiritual, physical, and emotional.
The attunements will introduce the students to the ancient healing masters while teaching the basics of hands-on healing, providing several meditations and energy exercises to enhance the ability of a person as an energy healer.
"First Light" uses no visualization, complex symbols, mantras, etc. and can be used by anyone regardless of prior energy training by mentally directing the flow
